FAQ

Separate the myths from the truth and get answers to the most frequently asked questions.

Can I just book my own travel?

Without a Travel Advisor, you’re on your own to comb through the thousands of online booking sites and paid advertisements. With so many options, it can be overwhelming and impossible to really know the value of what you’re looking at, and whether or not it’s the best option or the best price.

Your time is of value, but with my wealth of knowledge and status as a preferred partner with many providers around the world, I am able to offer my clients preferred rates, amenities, upgrades, VIP status and credits that you cannot access on you own.

Additional resources below can you help you decide if a Travel Advisor is right for you:

What education and/or training do you have that qualifies you to be a professional luxury travel advisor?

My education and training is ongoing through my affiliation with the Virtuoso Travel Consortium, as well as my host agency The Luxury Travel Agency. I attend webinars, in person seminars, read magazines, watch documentaries, obtain travel badges/certificates, and network with preferred partners and other advisors, all to be able to be the bring you the best trip imaginable.

How long does it take to plan a trip?

The booking time is variant on my factors such as, how far out you are traveling, where to, complexity of itinerary, how many vendors I need to communicate with, and will there be any revisions. With that said, my goal is to get you the first draft proposal 7-10 days after we've chatted and the booking fee is paid.

What happens if I run into any issues during my travel period?

Have peace of mind knowing I have your back 24/7 while you travel. Let me know what travel snag you've run into, and I immediately hop on a call with the appropriate vendor/partner to fix the issue. We are here to ensure your trip is easy and effortless.

How far in advance of a trip should I contact you?

The sooner you know, the better! Even if it's over a year out, I'd still love to get that trip booked for you. Some of the world's most captivating destinations and experiences book 12+ months in advance. Same goes for travel during the Holidays.
